<p> ScholasticScholastic FencingFencing LeagueLeague</p><p>Dear </p><p>Parents,</p><p>Scholastic Fencing League will offer an after-school fencing program during the 2016/17 school year. </p><p>What is the Scholastic fencing League? Our mission is to introduce the Olympic sport of fencing to students, grades 1st and up, in a safe and fun environment, while promoting the values of character, honor, integrity, strategy and athleticism.</p><p>How Does Our Program Work? The Scholastic Fencing League offers instruction in the sport of fencing, including footwork, blade work, tactics and strategy by providing instructors for before/after-school programs which are (specially) trained in the Maestro Glon Method of Fencing. Scholastic Fencing League offers 11-week sessions for parents enrolling their students in the program, and provides all necessary fencing equipment. </p><p>Schedule PRACAH will hold fencing classes for students in grades 1st and up, in the Multi Purpose Room on Tuesdays from 1:45 to 2:30. Practice will start on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016.</p><p>Course Fee The cost for the 11-week session (once per week) is $175. Class space is limited to 20 students. </p><p>Equipment All necessary equipment (glove, mask, jacket, and sabre) will be provided. Students should wear athletic shoes and comfortable athletic clothing, such as T-shirts and warm-up or sweatpants.
