Oliva Huot Technical Center, Laconia, NH Manchester School of Technology, Manchester, NH</p><p>Secondary Program: Plumbing and Heating</p><p>And</p><p>Postsecondary Schools: NH Department of Education Sponsored Evening Apprentice Programs at: Keene High School, Keene Laconia High School, Laconia Littleton High School, Littleton Manchester School of Technology, Manchester Spaulding High School, Rochester</p><p>Postsecondary Program: Plumbing Apprenticeship</p><p>Effective Dates</p><p>From: June 2004 To: June 2009</p><p>1 General Expectations</p><p>Postsecondary Program Responsibilities:</p><p> Provide staff to assist with student/parent orientation.  Offer the opportunity for student visits to the evening Plumbing Apprentice Program. </p><p>Secondary School Responsibilities:</p><p> Provide a program that integrates academic and vocational-technical education.  Expose students to career options and the opportunity available for articulation with the Postsecondary Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.  Provide counseling for students and parents interested in postsecondary education.  Coordinate with Postsecondary Apprenticeship Program faculty to review curriculum.  Sponsor activities with the Postsecondary Apprenticeship Program when possible. </p><p>Student Responsibilities:</p><p> Successfully complete the two year (4 semester) secondary program  Maintain no less than a 2.0 average in the plumbing course work.  Provide a copy of the high school transcript or a letter of recommendation from the high school instructor when registering for the Postsecondary Apprenticeship Program.</p><p>Terms and Conditions:</p><p> After graduating from High School, a student will be able to apply for admission to the evening Plumbing Apprentice Program.</p><p> Students enrolled in the high school Plumbing & Heating Program will receive credit for one year or 144 hours of related instruction credit if/when the following criteria is met:</p><p> a. A review of the high school transcript or a letter of recommendation from the secondary school instructor indicating attainment of skills and standards comparable to post-secondary courses;</p><p> b. An attendance record that meets the secondary school’s requirements; and</p><p> c. A grade point average of 2.0 or higher in the plumbing course work.</p><p>2 High School</p><p>Names and Sequence of Courses:</p><p>1. Plumbing I 2. Plumbing II These two courses must cover all of the Core Competencies and Standards approved for the State of New Hampshire Secondary Plumbing & Heating Programs in 2003 and amended since then.</p><p>Sequence of Instruction</p><p>Names and Sequence of Courses: Courses eligible for transfer credit.</p><p>First Year Fall Semester Spring Semester 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. </p><p>3 Signatures</p><p>______NH Department of Education Sugar River Valley RTC –Claremont, Apprenticeship Consultant Claremont, NH Marie B.
