<p> WOOL MARKET REPORT – 9 DECEMBER 2015</p><p>On the 17th wool auction of the 2015/2016 season, the Cape Wools merino wool market indicator increased by 1.2% to close on 14145c per kg clean. This is approximately 31.06% higher than a year ago.</p><p>Average clean wool price indicators for good quality long fleece wool (MF4/MF5) with a tenstile strength of 35 (NKT) were as follows:</p><p>18 µ 15519 (+1.4%) 21 µ 14116 (+3.8%) 19 µ 14927 (+1.9%) 22 µ 14071 (+3.4%) 20 µ 14205 (+1.8%) 23 µ 13284 (+1.7%)</p><p>The main buyers on the sale were: G Modiano (4,494 bales), Standard Wool (4,417 bales) Lempriere South Africa (3,386 bales).
