<p> MLA Hotel Room Payment FAQ</p><p>Procedure for Check-in:</p><p>Your driver's license must match the name on your credit card. There will be a $100 security deposit required at check-in on your credit card, regardless of payment method.</p><p>Tax Exempt Status:</p><p>You will need to have your tax exempt letter with you to receive a tax exemption.</p><p>Purchase Orders:</p><p>The IP does not accept purchase orders, so pay in advance with a credit card, check or money order (see procedure below). There will be a $100 security deposit required at check-in on your credit card, regardless of payment method.</p><p>Paying by Credit Card:</p><p>At the IP, you will not be able to check in using a credit card that does not have your own name on it that matches your ID. This includes your Library's credit card. If you need to pay with the library's credit card, or a card that has a different name than yours, fill out the Payment Authorization Form (on the MLA website, or email [email protected]) and return it via email to Celeste Lancon at [email protected] as soon as possible. Celeste will make a note in your record, so that whomever's name is on the credit card has authorized whomever will be checking in using that card. There will be a $100 security deposit required at check-in on your credit card, regardless of payment method.</p><p>Paying by Check or Money Order:</p><p>Checks and money orders must be sent in advance so that they can be processed and applied to the proper rooms without holding up Front Desk check-in day. Each check /money order sent MUST include: name(s) of guest(s) room the check is intended to cover, additional guests if there is more than one room per check, arrival date and departure date, how many nights each room should be included with each check.
