STUDENTS PURSUING A MAJOR IN AN AGRICULTURE FIELD</p><p>THE KENTUCKY POULTRY FEDERATION IS LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE TO BE THE 2007 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT.</p><p>The Kentucky Poultry Federation is looking for a student who is entering or is attending a college, university, or technical training program in the Fall Semester ’07 to be the recipient of a Kentucky Poultry Federation Scholarship. The student must have good character and determination. The recipient must be a Kentucky resident pursuing a major in an agriculture field. </p><p>Through the generosity of our members and allied companies, a scholarship has been established to assist graduating high school students or students currently attending a college or university to continue their education. This scholarship was created to benefit a student who wants to continue an education in agriculture and who is a resident in Kentucky. The Kentucky Poultry Federation Board of Directors and members established this fund to help students continue their academic careers or receive additional training in an agriculture field beyond high school.</p><p>The Kentucky Poultry Federation will be awarding one student a $1,000 scholarship. The award winner will be announced at our 50th Anniversary Celebration during the annual Hall of Fame Banquet on October 6, 2007 at the Galt House Hotel & Suites, Louisville, Kentucky. For consideration in the scholarship competition all Application Packets must be post marked or electronically submitted by September 14, 2007.
