<p> Rural Arts & Culture Workshops</p><p>GROW South Antrim, in partnership with the Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster (YFCU) are organising 2 Arts and Culture workshops in Summer 2014. Applications are open to all young people aged 14-17 (at date of travel) who live, or have a significant interest in a rural* area of Antrim, Newtownabbey or Carrickfergus Council areas. Applications can be submitted by members and non-members of YFCU.</p><p>*Rural areas includes the villages of Ballynure, Ballyrobert, Doagh, Burnside/Cogry, Crumlin, Templepatrick, Parkgate, Toomebridge, Whitehead and smaller rural settlements and open countryside. It excludes the towns of Antrim, Ballyclare, Carrickfergus, Randalstown, Greenisland urban area and Newtownabbey urban area including Glengormley. Further details and maps can be provided by the GROW office.</p><p>Visit Details Dates (inclusive of Cost per Country Theme travel)* participant</p><p>Estonia Dance 21st – 27th July 2014 £200</p><p>Northern Ireland Music 4th – 9th August 2014 £100 * Whilst we don’t expect they will, dates noted above are subject to change.</p><p>Each visit will bring together participants from France, Finland, Estonia and Northern Ireland. As well as daily workshops, and practical activities, you will have a chance for some sight seeing with excursions to tourist attractions in the locality.</p><p>The cost per participant will include all travel, accommodation, food and workshops. We anticipate that applicants will be notified if they have been shortlisted for interview by 5th March. Interviews will be held on Monday 10th and Thursday 13th March in the evening time.</p>
