PROJECT DESCRIPTION</p><p>Please present the project rationale within the following sub-headings: Limit the Project Description to under 6 pages (Arial font 10). Any maps, figures, and other supplementary material deemed useful should be uploaded separately in the “Supplementary documents” section of the Online Application Tool.</p><p>(i) Summary of conservation status and estimated trajectory of target species in terms of Red List Categories and Criteria: Please be concise and limit to essential information (max. 5-10 lines).</p><p>(ii) Conservation problem: Explain what the conservation problem is and how it originated. Why is it an emergency? Why is it important that it be addressed immediately?</p><p>(iii) Proposed activities and justification for their effectiveness in benefitting the species: Describe in detail the proposed activities to be implemented in the project period and also indicate if your project plans to implement any activity identified in an existing Species Conservation Strategy or Action Plan.</p><p>(iv) Outcomes: Explain what you expect to be the end results of the proposed activities above. </p><p>(v) Assumptions: Describe the underlying assumptions of the project proposal and explain how will the activities lead to the expected outcomes.</p><p>(vi) Indicators: Explain how you plan to measure the impact of project activities on the target species. </p><p>4 4. PROJECT SOS Rapid Action Grant Application (ver2015.1) DESCRIPT ION</p><p>(vii) Social context: Describe the broad socio-economic context of, and local communities living in, the area of the proposed project.
