Plans are Forthcoming. . 499 Ocean Avenue – Safeguard Self Storage (Former Berg Building) – Received Building Plans April 6th. . 5 Atlantic Avenue (former Boat Yard) no final plans submitted (waiting for NC to approve drainage plans). d. Businesses – Updates . 59 Main Street (Former Bakery) – Greek Restaurant – Submitted Application for Sign Permit. Waiting for Alterations Application. . 87 Main Street (Vacant) – Bakery with No Cooking Facilities. . 133-135 Main Street – The Max Challenge Fitness Center (Former Ice Cream / Soup Store) – Building Permit Issued. . 142 Main Street – Po-Boy Restaurant – Waiting for Permit from Fire Marshal’s Office. . 101 Althouse Avenue – Coal Fired Pizza & Bar (Former Restaurant/Bar) No Permits Issued – Schedule to Open End of Summer. . 492 Atlantic Avenue – Best Market (Former Pathmark) – Scheduled Opening end of May. . 40 Main Street – Bank of America – Scheduled to Close April 29th. 4. Grant Administration: a. CDBG Disaster Recovery – East Rockaway Drainage Improvements (Lawson Avenue) – Contract signed, waiting to hear back from NC. b. Nassau County Community Development 42nd Year – Application submitted March 30th – Senior Citizens Center Upgrades $200K & Minore Park Playground $200K. c. NYS Urban Forestry Grant – Not Posted as of April 6th. d. NYS Multi-Model Roadway Improvement Grant – Adams Street $200K – On April 4th we were advised by NYSDOT our application is in the main office waiting to be signed. e. Village Hall Elevator – Work In Progress f. Village Hall Basement Restrooms – Work In Progress g. Grist Mill Museum Roof – Completed h. Grist Mill Museum Security Cameras – Ordered i. Justice Court Assistance Program Grant (JCAP) – Ordered Security Door with Pass- through for Court Clerk’s Office. j. Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response Grant (SAFER) – Submitted Application for $900K In February. k. Fire Prevention & Safety Grant – Waiting for Information from the ERFD Fire Prevention Committee.</p><p>5. Fire Department/OEM: none</p><p>6. Department of Public Works: none</p><p>7.
