<p> V ectoring Print Instructions</p><p> Open Adobe Illustrator.  Open your saved Illustrator file.  Go to File, Print.  Set your printer to the Epilog Engraver.  Then select the setup tab.  When the print window appears select preferences.  Set your print preferences accordingly.</p><p> o Resolution: 600 dpi o Options: Check Auto-focus o Job Type: Raster, Vector or Combined *Depends on your job type o Piece Size: Set your piece size to inches. It should be the same as your layout. o Raster Setting: (For Plastic) Speed 100% Power 50% (For Wood) Speed 70% Power 70% o Vector Setting: Speed 12% Power 100% Freq. 800Hz</p><p> Make sure the engraver and vacuum pump are turned on.  After you make the proper settings, click OK on the Properties Window.  This will return you to the original Print Window. Click OK and this will send your image to the Engraver.  Place your piece on the table of the engraver and make sure it is against the top and left hand rule of the table. o If your stock does not fit under the laser head, push the focus button on the front of the engraver and push the down arrow to lower the table.  Close the window on the machine and start your engraving by selecting the green go button on the digital display window. </p>
