As a result of this Executive Order, the Department of Labor has implemented several religion-related changes to its general regulations and to the regulations governing WIA.</p><p>ACTION TO BE TAKEN:</p><p>Training and Employment Guidance (TEGL) Letter 1-05 provides clarification of the Department of Labor’s policy regarding Federal financial assistance to support employment and training in religious activities, religious activities at Job Corps centers, and requirements related to the participation of faith-based organizations in Department of Labor programs.
