These tests are designed to measure students’ skills  Complete a minimum of 18 credits and help colleges evaluate how ready you are for college-level  Completion of English I, II, and III work.  Completion of at least 1 math, 1 science, 1 social studies  Nearly all 4-yr. colleges accept both SAT and ACT  Completion of additional core & elective credits  You can take the tests multiple times - colleges will accept GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS your highest score on each individual section  You are not required to take SAT/ACT if attending a  26 Credits – MINIMUM community college, but a good score can exempt you from the  4 English, 4 Math, 3 Science, 4 Social Studies, placement exam. 1 Healthful-Living, 10 electives (2 World Language for 4 yr  Accuplacer: NC Community Colleges Placement Exam college admission) SENIOR YEAR SCHEDULING ACT  Determine which courses you will need to meet (FEB 28, 2017 – FREE FOR ALL WAKE COUNTY JUNIORS) graduation requirements  Measures students’ readiness/ achievement in English,  Determine college-specific admission requirements Reading, Math, Science, and Writing  Choose courses WISELY!
