<p> “CALL FOR PAPERS”</p><p>2017 OKLAHOMA PUBLIC-SAFETY and 9-1-1 CONFERENCE</p><p>Sponsored by the Oklahoma Chapter of NENA and the Oklahoma Chapter of APCO to be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 2-4, 2017.</p><p>The conference committee is seeking proposals for quality presentations. Proposals should be of interest to public safety communications professionals on topics related to 9-1-1 call taking, police, fire and medical dispatching, stress, first level leadership, telecommunicator training, technical development, operational development, radio systems, PSAP design and emerging technology. We also welcome submissions on subjects that do not directly apply to the above topics, but would be relevant and educational for the attendees.</p><p>Presentations should be 45 minutes and target to audiences of 25-50 people.</p><p>Interested instructors are asked to submit a biography of the presenter, course title and brief description, which will be printed in the conference program. Please include a brief description of the course, indicating any audio visual needs and hand-outs that will be provided. The course outline will be reviewed by the conference committee. If your submission is selected you will receive a full conference registration. Travel, hotel and meals are the responsibility of the presenter.</p><p>Conference website is: www.okpsc.org</p><p>Deadline for submissions is June 16th, 2017.
