<p> Community of Practice - Professional Learning Community </p><p>UDL Coaching Planning Guide Team: PES Coach/coaches: Veronica August, Kim Marvel, Sandy Smith </p><p>What is our common vision? By June 2015 given UDL training the PES staff will implement the Access (SMART* GOAL) Guidelines and checkpoints in one content area . </p><p>How will we know we got there? Survey Data, Pre and Post assessment (Contact Patty) (MEASUREMENT) Turn in one lesson plan at the end of the year with the UDL access guidelines embedded within the lesson.</p><p>1. A specific goal has a much greater chance of being accomplished than a general goal.</p><p> Is it Measurable? Establish concrete criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal. How will we know that we’ve achieved the goal? What change(s) can we measure? </p><p> Is it Attainable? Lofty goals are often abandoned. </p><p>Start with something we can see happening within a reasonable amount of time. </p><p> Is it Relevant? Identify goals that are most important to us and ones that will make a difference. </p><p> Is it Timely? Ground goals within a time frame and review progress at reasonable intervals. What weaknesses do we need to address?</p><p>Grade level teams are encouraged -Inequitable access to technology</p><p>Attempted common planning among special education -Unreliable technology teachers and general education teachers -Lack of communication and time between administrators, supervisors, and teachers. -Math manipulatives available for all student use Professional Development takes teachers out of the classroom. -Access to a variety of materials and resources (Conceptua, manipulatives, online literature sources, mobile computer - Same professionals are utilized to fill positions carts, repeatedly rather than varying the individuals </p><p>-Openness to Professional Development at the Elementary Level</p><p>Opportunities Threats What opportunities does UDL implementation offer?
