LOUIS, MO—When over 30,000 Boy Scouts gathered donated canned goods from over a million home visits to 44 local fire stations on November 19, it required a strong team of logistics support to transport those goods to their final destination, the St. Louis Foodbank, in just one day. </p><p>St. Louis-based Sunset Transportation, a Third Party Logistics Company (3PL), manages the logistics for the St. Louis Scouting for Food campaign and would like to thank this year’s volunteer fleet of logistics coordinators, carriers and drivers that donated their services, trucks, equipment and gasoline. </p><p>Carrier Companies that donated services and equipment: AJ Transport LLC CRH Transportation, www.crhtransport.com Dodge Moving and Storage, www.dodgemoving.com First Capitol Courier, www.firstcapitolcourier.com M.C.
