<p>BUILDING AND PUBLISHING A PROGRAM OF STUDY ON THE WISCONSIN CAREER PATHWAYS WEBSITE www.wicareerpathways.org</p><p>Location: CESA #12 Ashland, WI When: Thursday, December 8, 2011 Time: 9 am – 2:30 pm (Lunch will be provided) Cost Free to CESA 12 Carl Perkins School Districts How to Register: (Elaine….please fill in) What to bring: You may bring your own computer or use one of CESA 12’s computers. Bring a copy of your school district graduation requirements and the high school course offerings.</p><p>The Wisconsin Career Pathways website is now open to teachers, parents and students. Are your Career Pathways (Programs of Study) posted on this website? Most Career and Technical Education teachers have developed programs of study that relate to their discipline,, but some have not posted these programs of study on the state website.</p><p>This workshop is for</p><p> CTE Teachers who have not yet developed a Program of Study.  CTE Teachers who have developed a Program of Study but have not published it on the state website.  CTE Teachers who want to develop additional Programs of Study related to their discipline.  Guidance counselor who want to learn more about the state website and how Program of Study are developed.</p><p>Teachers who have developed and published a program of study are eligible to apply for funds through the CESA 12 Carl Perkins Minigrant Program. </p><p>Outline of the day:</p><p> Introduction to Career Clusters and Pathways (Programs of Study)  WI model of Carl Perkins funds  Components of a Program of Study  Use of Labor Market Data & Course Offerings to select a POS  Developing a Program of Study  Introduction to Wisconsin Career Pathways Website  WITC Pathways  Publishing your POS on the Career Pathways Website  Work session to develop and publish your POS Fred Schlichting, CESA 12 LVEC and Barb Landstrom from WITC will facilitate the workshop.</p>
