<p> Nursery and Orchard Technology Valid KY Course #010651</p><p>Course Description: Nursery and orchard technology will provide instruction in production practices for container and field-grown nursery stock; identification, function, growing requirements, hardiness, problems and methods of different landscape plant materials; propagating and growing evergreens/deciduous plants; and the operation of garden centers and nurseries. Principles of home and commercial fruit production may also be included. Content may be enhanced by utilizing appropriate computer applications. Leadership development will be provided through FFA.
