<p> INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT YOU CAN WORK IN GROUPS OF 2-3 SENARIO: In your group, you are all owners of an international restaurant chain in Dallas TX. You restaurant finds recipes and foods from all around the world so customers can experience a taste of every culture. You will document these recipes/foods on your Ipad to bring back to your restaurant. For some customers it may be food from their homeland that they want to share with family and friends.</p><p>Your group will be traveling to one country to experience the culture, the foods, and to bring home ideas to share with your customers. Each person of your group is an owner and will be given $6,000 for travel expenses (ie. If you have 3 owners that would be $18,000 total).</p><p>Through PowerPoint or google slides document details of your travels. On flights and hotels there are many options online that search for the best deals (compare). Your flight will need to be early in the morning going there to allow for the time change. Any money left over is yours to keep.</p><p>Choose one of the following countries (international cities): Moscow, Russia Beijing, China Havana, Cuba Barcelona, Spain Duplin, Ireland Panama City, Panama Johannesburg, South America Mambai, India Tokyo, Japan London, England *if you have another international city in mind let me know, it must be a major city and open for US travel (get my approval first) Slide 1: Owners in your group (student names)- Country of choice for travel (picture of the country/city) Slide 2: Culture of selected city: Pictures and description of country itself, what type of economy (government) do the have- major import/exports, what is their currency, and other interesting facts. Slide 3: Travel- find flights (online- round trips) to country- dates are the next month- (flying out the 5th and coming back the 8th) flying out of Dallas or Houston. Find the cheapest flights, you get to keep any money left over. Give details of your flight: what website did you use, price, location and time. Slide 4: Hotel- book a hotel in your city for the 5th, 6th, and 7th (3 nights, you’ll be traveling back the 8th). Give details of your hotel: what website did you use, price, location to center of city. Slide 5: Finance log: Record all financial transactions (income statement), allow for $100 a day per person for food and miscellaneous expense (4 days each).
