<p> August 1, 2016 City of Fennville</p><p>The regularly scheduled meeting of the City of Fennville was called to order in City Hall at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Pantelleria.</p><p>Commissioners Present: Pantelleria, Suerth, Cummins, Hayden, Brien Machan. Absent: Slawson</p><p>Public present: Chief Hoffman; Colleen Rae, Local Observer; Judge Marge Bakker; Frank Baker, candidate for County Sheriff. </p><p>The pledge of allegiance was recited.</p><p>APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved as printed.</p><p>PUBLIC COMMENTS: Chief Hoffman introduced Frank Baker and Judge Bakker. Mr. Baker gave the Commission an overview of his qualifications and his goals for the County Sheriff Office. Judge Bakker explained the Allegan County Legal Assistance Center. </p><p>APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Moved Suerth, second Cummins, to approve the minutes of the July 18, 2016 meeting as presented. Ayes: All. MOTION CARRIED.</p><p>OLD BUSINESS: </p><p>NEW BUSINESS: </p><p>FINANCIAL/PERSONNEL REPORT: Pantelleria reported that he will set up a meeting with Gary Tuhacek to discuss his duties and responsibilities and how to transfer to other employees. Audit is scheduled for September.</p><p>CITY SERVICES: Brien reported that the fire board met last Tuesday and the First Responder will start September 1, 2016. Discussion on the parking on West Fennville St.</p><p>CITY PROPERTIES: Cummins reported on the sidewalks that were repaired and that the crosswalk by the school was finished. </p><p>ORDINANCES/COMMUNITY RELATIONS: None.</p><p>PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT: None.</p><p>ADMINISTRATION/DDA: DDA will meet on Wednesday, August 3, 2016</p><p>MISCELLANOUS: Discussion on the old cider mill. APPROVAL OF BILLS: Machan requested a break down of expenditures for the recreation program. Clerk Phenix will write a letter to the school requesting a breakdown of the expenditures. Moved Pantelleria, second Suerth, to approve payment of June and July bills as printed (minus the recreation invoice) in the amount of $29,060.36. Ayes: All.
