<p> My name is Peggy Ryan</p><p>When I was growing up I attended St. Joseph Parish with my family and spent my first eight years of school at the old three story brick school house at Holy Trinity. The year I finished the eighth grade was the last year the parish provided classes for grades nine through twelve so I completed high school at St. Aloysius and went on to receive my teaching degree at Ohio Dominican.</p><p>I loved being a teacher and had many plans and dreams for the future. Then one Monday afternoon on October 28, 1968 as I was driving home from Glenford Elementary I was involved in a fatal accident and returned to the Lord at the age of 22. My time with you was brief and I could not live out my dreams but I believe we are here for a reason and we all have our time on earth for a purpose, whatever it may be, and somewhere between the time we arrive and the time we go may lie a reason we were alive that some may never know.</p><p>Some loving friends have established “The Peggy Ryan Memorial Endowment” to provide tuition assistance for children that attend Holy Trinity School just as I did when I was young. It’s a legacy of love. We all have fond memories of those innocent years, and the cherished education we received with the hope it will continue for future generations. I consider those days a point of reflection not where things begin and end but a timeline into something cyclical and regenerative with a sublime expression of love and tradition that speaks from the heart.
