<p>Student Scenarios: Please locate the section of the Shorewood High School Student Handbook, which addresses the issues contained in the scenario. Take a few moments to discuss a possible outcome of the scenario with your table group or an elbow partner.</p><p>1. Student A decides to throw a party while her parents are out of town. Student B posts an invitation to the party on Facebook, and hundreds of students show up. Student A’s home is damaged extensively. When students A and B show up at school on Monday, the teacher hears students talking to each other about the situation, and that Student A has threatened to harm Student B at lunch time. </p><p>2. Student A has been made aware of the school and classroom expectations for use of electronics during class time. Student A complies with the teacher’s first request to put the device away, but takes it out again after 15-20 minutes. Student complies with teacher’s second request to put the device away.</p><p>3. Student B has been made aware of the school and classroom expectations regarding food and drink. Student B meets with peers and has lunch each day on the main staircase. Student B complies with the first and second requests to move to an area designated for eating meals. Student B eats lunch with peers on the main stairway for a third time.</p><p>4. Student A wears a shirt clearly displaying a picture of a pot leaf on the front. This is the first time Student A has worn this shirt to school.</p><p>5. Student A has come to class seven minutes late after lunch three times in three weeks. Student has been made aware of the classroom expectations regarding tardiness.</p><p>6. Student A attends class smelling of alcohol. Student A exhibits clear signs of being under the influence of alcohol.</p><p>7. Student A is in the hall during passing time with a non-Shorewood student. The non-student is not displaying a visitor’s sticker/badge.</p><p>8. Student A and Student B show up to a football game at Shoreline Stadium. Shorewood High School is the home team. Student A has a validated i.d. showing that an ASB card has been purchased. Student B has a school i.d., which has not been validated to show the purchase of an ASB card. </p><p>9. Student A is using a cell phone for a classroom assignment with permission of the teacher. Student B is working with a group on an alternate project. Student B reports to you that Student A has been filming their group work without the permission of the group.</p><p>10. Student A wears jeans to school, which are belted below the waist and show undergarments. This is the second time student A has worn these jeans to school.</p>
