
<p>Multiplication Wrestling</p><p>Materials - Number Cards 0 - 9 (4 of each) Multiplication Wrestling Game board</p><p>Players 2 </p><p>Directions</p><p>1. Shuffle the cards. Place the deck number-side down on the playing surface.</p><p>2. Each player draws four cards and forms two 2-digit numbers. There are many possible ways to form 2-digit numbers using the four cards. Each player should form their two numbers so that their products are as large as possible.</p><p>3. Players create two “wrestling teams” by writing each of their numbers as a sum of tens and ones. </p><p>4. Next, each player’s two teams wrestle. Each member of the first team is multiplied by each member of the second team. Then the four products are added.</p><p>5. Scoring: The player with the larger product wins the round and receives one point. </p><p>6. To begin a new round each player draws four new cards to form two new numbers.
