Anemia in childhood: iron deficiency anemia (IDA) symptoms, laboratory tests, management. Hemolytic anemias: classification, epidemiology, clinical and laboratory diagnosis, therapies. Congenital and acquired aplastic anemias: symptoms, laboratory tests, rules of treatment</p><p>2. Bleeding disorders: idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment and differential diagnosis. Hemophilia A and B : diagnostic procedures, management, complications. Differential diagnosis of coagulation disorders based on peripheral blood count and coagulogram</p><p>3. Lymphadenopathy in children: causes of lymphadenopathy in pediatric clinic; Clinical examination of enlarged lymph nodes; additional tests required in lymphadenopathy ( PBC, serology, USG and other).; management of lymphadenopathy in children; Warning signs of cancer in patients with lymphadenopathy.</p><p>4. leukemia and lymphoma: epidemiology of leukemia and lymphoma in children. Clinical symptoms and laboratory findings. Rules of treatment leukemia and lymphoma in pediatric clinic; prognosis of childhood leukemia; short and long term side effects of anti-cancer treatment</p><p>5. Solid tumours in children: epidemiology, brain tumors, clinical symptoms, treatment rules, neuroblastoma, nephoblastoma, bone tumours, rhabdomyosarcoma, germinal tumors, hepatoblastoma: clinical presentation, diagnostic procedures, rules of treatment, prognosis</p><p>6. Hematopietic stem cell transplantation in children (HSCT). Indication for HSCT in children. Procedure of HSCT: conditioning regimen, stem cell harvest and transplantation; early and late complication post HSCT; graft versus host disease prophylaxis and treatment. Long term effects of transplant procedure performed in childhood. 7. Life-threatening conditions in pediatric hematology and oncology. Condition related to the disease itself and side effects of chemotherapy.
