<p>JOB SUMMARY</p><p>The Sales Associate who is hired will be working for a premier men’s clothing store and as such will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, establishing and developing customer relationships, and building sales volume for the store. The position requires a person who intends to make men’s fashion his or her career, is a self-starter, has a strong fashion sense and has excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as be capable of completing point-of- sale transactions. He or she will be required to have the technical skills to use multiple communication methods, including social media, in order to build strong relationships with existing as well as new customers. Because the Sales Associate will be working in a luxury retail boutique setting, he or she will also be responsible for processing merchandise (including receiving, displaying, grooming, and packaging), maintaining the appearance of the property and dressing in a professional and fashion forward manner.</p><p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Create, maintain and build strong customer relationships. Increase store and outside sales volume for both off the rack and custom tailored businesses. Provide above and beyond customer service. Maintain and build the customer database and utilize it for phone, electronic/print communications and social media as appropriate. Coordinate stock management and replenishment. Demonstrate knowledge of all men’s clothing and store merchandise. Open and close the store when required. Arrive at the store or for an appointment on time. Assist in the movement of merchandise, including window displays.</p><p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>Minimum of two years sales experience High school diploma or GED Ability to work independently Strong sales skills Operational and technical computer skills Exceptional customer service skills Valid US driver’s license</p><p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p><p>Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time Periodic travel within the region Ability to drive Ability to speak to customers in person or over the phone Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds</p>
