<p> Lesson Plan Checklist</p><p>General:  Times of the day are listed  2-3 circle (large group) times with cognitive activities are planned  There is a combination of large and small group activities planned</p><p>Curriculum:  Activities come from the curriculum and page numbers are listed  Activities are playful, planful, and purposeful</p><p>Goals/Objectives:  The focus/goals/objectives from curriculum are listed or referenced  References TEA Pre-K guidelines/Head Start Outcomes/ or other agency requirements are in the plan</p><p>Meaningful Transitions:  Planned transition activities are listed  Transitions are cognitive</p><p>Small Groups:  Activities include page number & references to CIRCLE manual and/or curriculum  Assessments with children’s names and skills  Activities selected are chosen based on mCLASS CIRCLE web report</p><p>Vocabulary:  Theme related vocabulary words are listed</p><p>Props and Materials:  Materials and resources you need for centers and activities are listed  Theme-evidence throughout centers</p><p>Books:  Read Aloud Books listed  Extension Activities based on the Read Aloud story</p><p>Centers:  Activities chosen reflect the theme  Activities are chosen from the curriculum, CIRCLE manual, as well as other resources</p><p>Cognitive Components:  Activities chosen reflect the cognitive components: □ Letter Knowledge □ Vocabulary □ PA—Listening □ PA—Rhyming □ PA—Alliteration □ PA--Syllabication □ PA—Words in a Sentence □ PA—Onset Rhyme</p>
