The company Danceworks are going to be delivering these lessons at their studio which is situated just behind Oxford Street.</p><p>The children are going to be split into two groups, alternating lessons each week. While one group is at ballet the other will be attending collective worship at Grosvenor Chapel with the rest of the school. </p><p>These lessons are going to take place on a Friday morning from 9.30 -10. We will be walking to and from the studio each week and it will take around 20 minutes each way.</p><p>For the lessons the children will need to wear leggings/track suit bottoms/shorts and a t-shirt - or leotards if they have them. They can go barefoot or wear socks if they have the sticky spots on the bottom, or of course, ballet shoes if they have them.</p><p>If your child is attending ballet that week then they will need to come to school dressed in the appropriate clothes as there will not be time to change before walking to the lesson. They will need to bring their school uniform and school shoes (unless they are wearing them) in a bag which they can change into after the lesson back at school.</p><p>Either myself or Miss Purcel will be taking a group to ballet, with the other one attending chapel. However, we will need 3 regular parent volunteers to help supervise the children walking to and from ballet. If you would like to help, then you need to be available every Friday morning from 22nd September to 1 December between 9 and 10.30am. Or we could have 3 parents to help with all the group 1 sessions and 3 to help with all the group 2 sessions. Either way, you need to be able to commit to the dates and times.
