This camp is for teachers who want to learn to use aviation / aerospace for STEM in their classrooms. (Conducted by EFA) Limit 20</p><p>June 25 8 AM-2 PM Teacher Flight Lab Workshop. This camp is for teachers who want to learn to use the Boeing EFA flight lab to bring their students on a field trip to use the flight lab. (Conducted by EFA) Limit 20</p><p>July 9 8 AM-2 PM MVP (Mentor / Volunteer / Parent) STEM Boot Camp. If you are interested in using items found around the home to support STEM learning, this is your workshop. This workshop is designed for adults who want to sharpen their STEM skills for home or school.</p><p>July 12 8 AM-2 PM WeDo 101: Introduction to Robotics (Conducted by IDL) This workshop is designed to teach the basics of LEGO WeDo robotics construction and software programming. Limit 20</p><p>July 16-18 8 AM-2 PM EFA Lead Teacher Workshop (Basic). (Conducted by EFA) This workshop is designed to provide teachers STEM strategies to use in their daily lessons. Attendance to the workshop prepares teachers to select experiments to be conducted by their students during a field trip to the Okaloosa STEMM Center. We add new experiments each year. Although elementary teachers are targeted by this workshop, all experiments can be used by teachers at all grade levels. Limit 25</p><p>July 19 8 AM-2 PM Introduction to 3D Immersive Environments (Conducted by IDL) Limit 20</p><p>NEW DATE: July 29 – Aug 1 8 AM-2 PM EFA Lead Teacher Workshop (Advanced). (Conducted by EFA) This workshop is designed to provide teachers STEM strategies to use in their daily lessons. Attendance to the workshop prepares teachers to select experiments to be conducted by their students during a field trip to the Okaloosa STEMM Center. We add new experiments each year. Although middle school grade teachers are targeted by this workshop, all experiments can be used by teachers at all grade levels. Limit 25</p><p>July 26 8 AM-2 PM Advanced Robotics: Training with TETRIX and Mindstorms robotics bricks (Conducted by IDL) Mindstorms robotics are used by most middle grade schools. This workshop will provide teachers the skills to build and begin learning to program their Mindstorms robots. Limit 20</p><p>July 29 8 AM -2 PM Teacher Flight Lab Workshop. (Conducted by EFA) For teachers who want to learn to use the Boeing EFA flight lab to bring their students on a field trip to use the flight lab.
