<p>G Mark News Release 1-17-17</p><p>Signal & Power Delivery Systems introduces new, mandatory Gulf Mark (G-Mark) cords into growing stock of product offerings.</p><p>Signal & Power Delivery Systems, Inc. (SPDS) is pleased to announce that we are the first in the industry to supply a complete offering of approved Gulf Mark, or G Mark, power cords. Stocked cords include the BS1363 fused plug to IEC C5, C7, C13, and C15 receptacles.</p><p>To see our full product offering for stocked Gulf Mark cords, please visit this page:</p><p>Gulf Mark Power Cords</p><p>As of July 1, 2016, the Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization Organization (GSO), comprised of member countries Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen, have revised and updated its requirements for exported goods for electrical products into its respective countries; namely adding the mandatory G Mark to all products and accessories. </p><p>Map of Middle East participating members of the GCC By fulfilling this new and essential requirement set in the GSO’s Second Edition of the Gulf Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances, BD-142004-01, SPDS is poised to keep our customers’ business interests in the region from being disrupted. Some of the differences from the First Edition of the regulation are defining the “Economic Operator,” or the manufacturer, clearly. For any product put into a GSO participating country’s market, the manufacturer has more defined responsibilities that conform to the technical regulation.
