<p> Park Center Soccer Booster Meeting Minutes May 18, 2014, 6:00pm The Roasted Pear</p><p>Board Members Present: Rich Heitzig, Wendy Wessel, Laurie Peterson, Mona Schwarz Board Members Not Present: Mike Volstad, Barb Dixon Others Present: Cathy Reginato, Stefani Dunfee, Mary Nelson, Jodi Brakke, Gerry Brakke, Bryant Brakke, Sean McNattin</p><p>Meeting called to order at 6:15pm Reading / Approval of Prior Minutes – 4/13/2014- Voted and approved</p><p>Agenda Organization  Wendy Langowski – resigned from soccer year book; Need new volunteer; Discuss possibilities at next meeting  Bylaws – updates (name, conflict of interest policy). Review and be ready to vote on approval at next meeting</p><p>Fundraising / Budget Updates  501c3- Rich gave overview of IRS1023 application for 501c3 status and gave attendees an opportunity to review the long document. o The cost is more than expected. To apply, our fee will be $850 o Should we continue with the 1023 application and expenses (split equally between boys and girls budgets)? Voted and approved  Volunteer Event o Mike Volstad / Lion’s Club will donate $500 but would love the help of 5-6 kids for busing tables, etc. for an event they are holding on 5/31. Hoping captains can participate  Budget- We will do final votes on updated budgets at the next meeting. o Busing – NOT covered by district outside of 50 mile radius. Bus for girls to Mankato will be Booster expense o Four coaches will be paid for on girls side- Removed girls coaching expense of $2700 o Coaching fees – MN State Coaches fee is $45/coach, the school will cover, doesn’t think NSCAA $100 is necessary unless we have a nationally ranked player.- Removed $50 MN coaching and $100 NSCAA expense from budget.  Flower Fundraiser – o Final results Boys Profit- $394.25; Girls Profit- $487.25 o Was much more than 10 hours of volunteer work for the organizer. Some people did not pick up their flowers and Stefani had to contact them.  Sports Wrap o With group order, individual logo wraps will be about $80. 4 have been pre- ordered.  Todd obtained $380 worth of wire shelves with wires for the concession stand from Home Depot in Brooklyn Park.</p><p>Updates  Concessions o Grill still needs to be assembled o Pretzel warmer is purchased  Summer o Training Plans & Captains Practices- Captains parents will check with coaches on final summer date/time schedules. o Captains Letters- Rich as copies of last year’s letters  Other dates o Steak Fry- Sept 21; 5:30-8:30pm o Boys and Girls Alumni games...
