<p> SMITHTON BOOSTERS (JANUARY 16, 2013)</p><p>The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Jim Elbe. A sign-in sheet was sent around.</p><p>Gabe Schwemmer made a motion and Dean Alberts seconded it to accept the minutes.</p><p>There is $22,225.74 in the account.</p><p>Some suggestions for purchases to be made in the future are: 2 money boxes, new basketballs, a break-away banner, warm-ups for basketball (boys & girls), stop watches for track.</p><p>The concession stand for volleyball will not sell hot dogs, slim jims were suggested as a replacement. There are seven home games.</p><p>There was $2000 worth of spirit wear sold on December 8th. Another $500 or so was sold at the Thursday night basketball game. Some of the old items were donated to the Lord's Helper.</p><p>The by-laws were forwarded to Dr. York.</p><p>The booster banquet will be May 5th at Turner Hall. The doors will open at 5pm. The awards will begin at 6pm. Gabe Schwemmer will be in charge of invitations. Amber Weiss will be asked to bake the cupcakes. Marsha Schulte is in charge of decorations.</p><p>The No-Jacks fundraiser earned $1350.</p><p>Mr. Funderberg will get a complete wish list together after he talks to the coaches.</p><p>Rich Maue will check on the status of the computer for Mr. Funderberg/A.D.</p><p>Sue Mirly made a motion to adjourn which was seconded by Paula Farley at 7:44pm.</p><p>The next meeting will be February 20th.</p>
