<p> THE MGCC (ULSTER CENTRE) PRESENTS</p><p>Saturday 30th / Sunday 1st July 2012</p><p>At our AGM Mike Armstrong came up with the great idea of doing a midsummer run, sunset to sunrise, coast to coast tour. It created some interest on the night and so we have looked into it, prepared a route starting at sunset from Strandhill, Co Sligo. From there you will navigate your way (using your own maps) through many villages and towns via a network of mostly minor roads. The route will be defined by numerous waypoints and will be distributed before the start. The route is all shown on OSNI 1:250,000 Ireland North map.</p><p>The finish will be around sunrise in Newcastle, Co Down where there will be an early breakfast (£12.95) available in The Burrendale Hotel.</p><p>We have changed the date of this run owing to unforeseen clashes with other events. We need to know who will be going along by Friday, 22 June latest in order advise the hotel with numbers for early breakfast. We will need a minimum of 12-15 cars to make this event viable.</p><p>This has been planned as a fun run, it is not a race or competitive event, and is being organized to raise money in aid of our chosen charity ME. Those wishing to take an easier route along main roads can do so.</p><p>This event is open to all vehicles, classic and modern.
