<p>TRAVEL INFORMATION</p><p>How to get to Bogaziçi University </p><p> Transport from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to Bogaziçi University </p><p>By taxi (costs about 35 YTL / € 19 / $ 25 between 6:00 am and midnight, with a 50 % increase after midnight) Taxis are available outside the airport terminal. The journey from Istanbul Atatürk Airport to Bogaziçi University takes about 30-45 minutes (if there is no major traffic jam which is not unusual for Istanbul). </p><p>By Havaş: From the airport, you can take the Havaş Shuttle Services to Akmerkez Shopping Center, Etiler (which is close to the university) and from Akmerkez a taxi to the campus which costs about 5 YTL. You may also come to Taksim by Havaş Shuttle Services.</p><p> Transport from Taksim to Boğaziçi University</p><p>From Taksim you may take a taxi to the campus which costs about 15 YTL. Taksim is the center of the city’s transportation network, with buses, subways and dolmuş coming in from various destinations of the city. In Taksim you can reach historical, cultural and entertainment centers in a walking distance. Many good restaurants and hotels are situated around the Taksim Square. The buses “59R Rumelihisarüstü” and “559R Rumelihisarüstü” from Taksim Square go directly to Rumelihisarüstü, the bus stop next to the entrance of the South Campus of Bogaziçi University. All the conference activities will take place on the South Campus.</p><p>HAVAŞ SERVICES</p><p>TAKSİM</p><p>City Departure Spot: Taksim, The “Büyükşehir Arts Gallery” (20 meters away from THY Turkish Airlines office ) </p><p>Departure times: From the Airport: Shuttle buses depart at 04.00 a.m. until 01.00 a.m. (and between 04.00 a.m - 01.00 a.m every half an hour from the Airport.) </p><p>From Taksim: Shuttle buses depart at 04.00 a.m. until 01.00 a.m. (and between 04.00 a.m. - 01.00 a.m. every half an hour from Taksim.) </p><p>Route: Atatürk Airport, Bakırköy Sea Bus Pier, Coast Road, Aksaray, Tepebaşı, Taksim.</p><p>Arrival time: Approximately 40 minutes.</p><p>Ticket fee: 9,00 YTL (VAT incl.) Note: Between 24.00 and 06.00 a.m., there is an increase of 25 % for ticket fees.
