Fortunately, there are efforts currently underway, in the form of both research and practice, to help make our world a cleaner, safer, healthier, and more sustainable place to live. As American citizens, we all have a responsibility to educate ourselves and do our part to contribute to these efforts. </p><p>Task: Individually, or in groups no greater than 3, you will do the following: 1. IDENTIFY and EXPLAIN a current issue or challenge related to sustainability. Your issue should deal with one of the five categories we have discussed as a class (see the illustration below). 2. RESEARCH a current solution(s) to your selected issue. EXPLAIN what is being worked on or being implemented, and discuss any challenges the solution faces. 3. CREATE and PRESENT what you discover to the class in a format of your choice.
