<p> The Metric IQ- Game</p><p>How to Play</p><p>You have 10 cards numbered 1 through 10 labeled with metric prefixes</p><p> nano, micro, milli, centi, deci, deka hecto ,kilo, mega and giga.</p><p>Your challenge, if you accept, it to arrange the 10 cards in such a manner that when you play them, as directed below, the resulting stack of cards on the table will be in order, with the smallest prefix (nano) on the bottom and the largest prefix (gigi) on top. You must also pronounce each prefix correctly out loud as you place each card on the table. You may want to practice the pronunciations first.</p><p>The arrangement of the cards in a “certain” order is the key! After you have discovered this arrangement it is time to PLAY!</p><p>To Play: Hold the deck of cards which you have arranged face up in the winning order in your hand. (The arrangement of cards in your hand before you play them on the table can lead to your rating as “Genius”)</p><p>Keep all cards face up in your hand and as they are placed on the table: Precede as follows: Place the top card (nano) on the table (face up): place the next card on the bottom of the deck (still face up): the third card goes on the table (This card would have to be micro); the fourth card is placed on the bottom of the deck; the fifth card goes on the stack on the table (Yes the fifth card goes down on the table on top of the stack and must be the card milli. Continue … …</p><p>Continue playing cards from the deck, alternating placing then on the table or on the bottom of the deck, until all cards are played. When all cards are played, check the stack on the table to see that they are in order with the smallest prefix (nano) on the bottom and the largest prefix (gigi) on the top.</p><p>Once you understand what to do, set your watch and being!</p><p>Remember complete the winning arrangement first! ---Before you play your cards.</p>
