<p> Board of Directors Meeting Highlights MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2009</p><p>1. Adults – Grand Island is interested in forming an adult league. Discussions under way in to include 24 adult teams from Lincoln. </p><p>2. ODP Director – Marty Anderson submitted her resignation.</p><p>3. State Referee Administrator - Jim Norris, June 12-14 an assessor clinic with Carlos Felino will be held. The fall clinic is moved to December, Dave McKee from Delaware will conduct the clinic</p><p>4. Director of Coaching – Matt Howe reported that Tyler Pollack has been added to the U17 roster for world cup qualifying</p><p>5. Board Business a. Rules and Reg – A change in Academy Registration was approved by the board. Additional discussion to possibly add U7/U8 occurred; however the concern was grouping by ability for these age groups. Increasing the roster size similar to U6 was discussed. b. Bylaw Change - IX. Risk Management/Kidsafe Program – Board adopted the proposed change. c. Rules and Reg – A minor change in Team Formation Policy was approved by the board. d. New Member Application – Omaha Football Club – was approved by the board. Additionally, the rights of the Cornhusker Classic was transferred to the Omaha Football Club. e. New Member Application – VIVA Soccer Club – was approved by the board. f. "The Right Start" Coaching Ed Program was presented to the board by staff. Board deferred consideration until a later meeting. g. Fee Increase for the 2010 (Fall 2009 and Spring 2010) Nebraska Championships - The fee increase was approved by the Board. 6. Introduction of proposed changes a. Submittal of proposed Change to Nebraska Championship Policy – Substitution b. Submittal of proposed Change to Rules and Regs - Identification Passes – Signed 7. Announcements a.
