<p> Lakeside Academy’s </p><p>Dear Parents/Guardians:</p><p>November 23-25 is the Beta state convention at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. All members are required to attend and compete in various categories. Please be advised that siblings are not allowed to attend. This is a competition event for our students and not a vacation.</p><p>Members traveling without a parent: The total trip cost per member is $135 which includes: Room - $75 for 2 nights (4 in a room) Registration and t-shirt - $10 Rainforest Café - $15 Dave & Buster’s - $25 Breakfast/Lunch Mon and breakfast Tuesday - $10 (lunch will be pizza) </p><p>Members traveling with ONE parent The total cost for parents to attend along with their child is $435 which includes: Room - $290 for 2 nights Registration and t-shirt - $30 (S-XL) plus $10 for student Rainforest Café - $20 plus $15 for student Dave & Buster’s - $25 plus $25 for student Breakfast/Lunch Mon & breakfast Tue - $10 (lunch is pizza) plus $10 for student</p><p>Payment Schedule is as follows: September 17, 2014 - $30 (student) $100 (parent & student) October 1, 2014 - $30 (student) $90 (parent & student) October 15, 2014 - $30 (student) $90 (parent & student) October 29, 2014 - $30 (student) $90 (parent & student) November 12, 2014 - $15 (student) $65 (parent & student) Final Payment</p><p>There are no refunds. No exceptions</p><p>In an effort to keep the trip cost down, teacher and parent chaperones will be carpooling to the convention. Parents please let us know if you plan on attending the Nashville trip and if you plan on driving. There is a $44 charge per vehicle for parking. The Lakeside Beta club will not reimburse parents for this charge. </p><p>The Opry Mills Mall is next to the hotel and a shuttle to the mall is provided. We do intend on briefly visiting the mall during our free time. Students are welcome to bring extra money to purchase items. We suggest about $10-$20 daily. </p><p>As the event date gets closer, a full itinerary will be provided.
