<p> School Leader’s SLO Checklist Di rec tion s : Use the School Leader’s Checklist as a quality assurance approach for student learning objectives developed by teachers at your school. This checklist is organized around three quality components of SLO: Completeness, Comprehensiveness, and Coherence. Each component has five basic requirements necessary for a high-quality SLO.</p><p>Pa rt I: Com p leteness: Part I is focused on ensuring the SLO Process Template is completed correctly.</p><p>Task</p><p>1.1</p><p>1.2</p><p>1.3</p><p>1.4</p><p>1.5</p><p>P a rt I I : C omp r ehen s iven e ss : Part II is focused on ensuring the performance measures identified on the SLO Process Template are of sufficient quality for use in reporting student achievement.</p><p>Task</p><p>2.1</p><p>2.2</p><p>2.3</p><p>2.4</p><p>2.5 P a rt I II : C o he r enc y : Part III is focused on ensuring the completed SLO, including identified performance measures, provide an aligned approach focused on the identified “Big Idea” within PA’s content standards.</p><p>Task ID</p><p>Descriptor Rating</p><p>“Meets Criteria” “N/A”</p><p>3.1 A blueprint or another design document illustrates relationships among key components (i.e., goal statement, targeted content standards, performance indicators, performance measures, student achievement expectations, and overall teacher rating).</p><p>3.2 Performance indicators are specific, criteria-focused, challenging (yet attainable) and directly linked to the performance measures.</p><p>3.3 The SLO is based on performance measures that are technically-sound (i.e., reliable, valid, and fair) and appropriately aligned to the targeted content standards.</p><p>3.4 The SLO has been reviewed to ensure that it is complete. Meaning, all applicable elements within SLO Process Template 10.0 have been addressed according to the prescribed business rules.</p><p>3.5 The SLO has been reviewed to ensure that it is comprehensive. Meaning, all performance measures have been examined to determine that they are appropriate for use in the SLO process. </p>
