<p> Conics Project</p><p>Here is your chance to be creative…. design a drawing on graph paper (cartoon character, sports object or mascot, design or a scene… Be Creative!!) This will count as two test grades and is due on ______. The picture should use various conics as outlined in the rubrics and have at least 2 lines. You must write your equations out on a separate sheet of paper by type (circle, ellipse, hyperbola, parabola, line). I should see the work you did to make the equation (especially with lines and parabolas). It should show the components of the individual conic as we learned in class (vertices, covertices, center, vertex, etc.). </p><p>2. Make two copies of your graph. The rough draft (blue print) must be numbered to correspond to the list of equations. Also the rough draft must have the x-axis and y-axis. The second copy will be your final draft that will be put on your mount. The second copy will NOT have the axes or be numbered. 3. Restrictions for the domains must be determined for each equation (circles and ellipses with restrict themselves). If these points are not integers, specify them to the nearest hundredth.</p><p>4.
