We Wish to Inform All PSA Members of the Receipt Yesterday of the Following Proposal From

<p>We wish to inform all PSA members of the receipt on April, 14, 2010 of the following proposal from the RI Board of Governors:</p><p>"AGREEMENT It is hereby agreed by the parties, the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education and PSA/NEA-URI, that the Collective Bargaining Agreement dated July 1, 2007 and in effect through June 30, 2010 is hereby extended through June 30, 2011 with no across the board salary increase for fiscal year 2011."</p><p>All provisions of the contract will remain intact; nothing will be changed.</p><p>The PSA Executive Committee will meet on April 22 to consider the proposal for recommendation to the membership for ratification vote.</p><p>URIPSA/NEARI CONTRACT RATIFICATION MEETING CALL TO All VOTING MEMBERS TO ATTEND May 5th at noon in Atrium 1 - Memorial Union</p><p>In accordance with the by-laws, a quorum of 15% of the membership (at least 54 members eligible to vote) must be established to conduct business as a majority of those members present. </p><p>If you have questions or wish to check your voting eligibility, please call the PSA office at 874-2295 or email at [email protected]</p>
