<p> Barry D. Britt Scholarship Fund</p><p>Red Cross Elementary School 215 Parkview Drive Glasgow, KY 42141 Barry D. Britt, Principal of Red Cross Elementary died in May of 2008, and the Red Cross Elementary School personnel established a scholarship in his memory. Mr. Britt had dedicated twenty-four years of his life to the education field. </p><p>Mr. Britt was a truly dedicated professional of the education field and throughout his educational career touched the lives of many students, parents, teachers, and staff members. </p><p>A $500.00 scholarship will be given annually to a young lady or gentleman that is a senior at Barren Co. High School. Students will apply for the scholarship and applications will be reviewed by members of the family.</p><p>Applications must be sent: Red Cross Elementary School Attn: Marla F. Stewart Glasgow, KY 42141 Due by : March 20, 2015</p><p>The following criteria will need to be provided through transcripts or letters verifying the information. 1. Student attended Red Cross Elementary for six years. 2. Student maintained a 2.5 avg. or better for all 12 years. 3. Student maintained at least a 96% attendance average for all 12 years. 4. Student followed discipline procedures, never expelled. 5. Student applying for college courses or Voc. Tech. studies. Student will receive money after she/he is enrolled and attending classes. </p>
