<p>Service Standards</p><p>Our goal is to provide the following service:</p><p>Restrooms- Waste- Baskets emptied five times a week Floors- Swept and wet mopped five times a week Fixtures-Cleaned five times a week Supplies-Checked and replenished five times a week</p><p>Classrooms- Regular Waste- Baskets five times a week Recycle Waste- Baskets emptied two times a week Floors- Dust mopped nightly and spot wet mopped as needed Hand Dusting- As needed Chalk boards- Cleaned once a week, chalk trays cleaned nightly White boards- Cleaned once a week if cleaner is provided Carpets- extracted yearly</p><p>Public Areas- (Stairways, entrances, lounges, hallways, elevators) Waste- Baskets emptied five times a week Floors- Dust mopped or vacuumed as needed, wet mopped as needed Hand dusting when necessary</p><p>Laboratories- Regular Waste- Baskets emptied nightly Recycle Waste- Baskets emptied on Tues and Thurs Floors- Dust mopped nightly, wet mopped twice a week or as needed Weekly dusting if clear of items (items will not be moved)</p><p>Offices- (Weekly Cleaned) Offices are entered and cleaned one time per week on a designated day Regular Waste- Baskets emptied Recycle Waste- Baskets emptied Floors -Dust mopped and spots wet mopped or vacuumed Dusting if clear of items (items will not be moved)</p><p>Recycle Material- Aluminum, Glass & Plastic beverage Containers- should be placed in designated containers located in corridors throughout the building. Corrugated cardboard- should be placed in corridor outside your office or lab. (request flattened) Office paper- Should be placed in designated "recycling" baskets in offices and labs Newspapers- Should be placed in designated containers in corridors throughout the building</p><p>There will be times when due to vacant positions, illness, and weather (snowstorms requiring custodians to shovel ) etc we are unable complete our desired work. In this case, in concert with our customers, we have identified the following priority of services:</p><p> Snow Removal  Restrooms  Classrooms  High Public use areas  Trash removal  Labs  Offices  Stairs and low public use areas </p><p>It is our goal to refinish all hard floors and extract carpets annually. More frequent service is available at cost to departments. Other services are available at a cost for departmental special events. Contact CARS with special requests.</p>
