You are now viewing the home page for the Elie Wiesel Foundation, an organization founded by Wiesel to promote peace and understanding.</p><p>On the left hand side of the page, click on “Elie Wiesel” to go to a biography of his life and accomplishments. </p><p>Read the biography and answer the following questions. 1. Where and when was he born? 2. What happened to him when he was 15? 3. What happened to his family? 4. What did he do after the war? 5. Why did he found his organization? 6. How many honorary degrees does he have? Why do you think so many universities have honored him in this way? 7. How many books has he written? 8. List at least 5 awards he has received. 9.
