<p> Association of Montana Troopers</p><p>Application for Montana Public Criminal Justice Scholarship</p><p>I, ______, do hereby make application for a one-time $500 scholarship from the Association of Montana Troopers. I understand that this scholarship is to be used only for tuition and fees associated with my education during the 20_____ and 20_____ school year and that this scholarship is limited to a single award and is not renewable. I also understand I must be entering a Montana based criminal justice program or law enforcement program and/or actively seeking a degree in criminal justice or law enforcement only from a Montana based institution of higher education in order to be eligible for this award.</p><p>I understand that this scholarship is competitive in nature and that a maximum of one scholarship such will be awarded state-wide each school year. In order for this scholarship application to be considered, I must supply the following information in this prescribed manner:</p><p>1. First year secondary education students must submit a copy of their high school transcript and a letter of acceptance to a Montana based higher education institution criminal justice program.</p><p>2. Second or subsequent year secondary education students must submit a copy of their previous year’s transcript(s) demonstrating successful Montana based criminal justice coursework.</p><p>3. A short biography which includes your short and long-term goals related to criminal justice in Montana.</p><p>4. This fully completed application and items required under numbers one through three must scanned and submitted by e-mail attachment to scholarship chairperson Bob Hensley at: [email protected] by the deadline of March 15th or the application will not be considered for the upcoming school year.</p><p>5. Also by March 15th, all applicants must submit a JPEG digital photo and a separate, short, electronic (Word based) biography suitable for publication by e-mail attachment to Montana Trooper magazine editor Kristin Banchero at: [email protected].
