<p> Year 9/10 French Passive Voice Exercises</p><p>These exercises will assess your ability to :</p><p>- display an understanding of the structure of phrases in the Passive Voice. correctly form the past participle of regular -er, -re and –ir verbs. - construct sentences in French using the Passive Voice - display correct agreement of subject, object and past participle using the Passive Voice</p><p>Question 1</p><p>Transform these sentences into the passive voice. (In English)</p><p>People eat apples every day. - </p><p>The postman delivered the letters on Thursdays. -</p><p>The historical society built the museum. -</p><p>All parents love their children. -</p><p>Many factors within our nation affect the economy. -</p><p>Question 2</p><p>Rewrite the sentences above in both the passive and the active voice, in French.</p><p>Question 3</p><p>Pick 4 sentences using subjects, objects and agents of your choice to demonstrate your ability to write a sentence using the passive voice and maintain agreement (1 sentence each for masculine and feminine, plural and singular). Bonus marks for using adjectives of colour or other description to further showcase your ability to have gender and quantity agreement.</p><p>When you have finished, print off a copy for your own records and then save the completed file to the location directed by your teacher.</p>
