<p> Somerset Patriots Seasonal Grounds Crew</p><p>Position: The Somerset Patriots have seasonal positions available on the grounds crew for the 2015 baseball season. Employment runs from March 30th through October 30th and employees can expect to average around 35 hrs on non-game weeks and 70 hrs on game weeks. The position is salaried and opportunities for advancement within the organization are possible. Applicants must be available for an in person interview at TD Bank Ballpark.</p><p>Job Description: Assist the head groundskeeper with maintaining a professional baseball field including infield skin, mound, and plate maintenance, edging, painting, mowing, tarping, landscape maintenance, and set up for games as well as non-baseball events. Assist with fertilizer application, aeration, topdressing, and implementation of IPM program. </p><p>Qualifications:  Individuals must be able to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed  Positive attitude with willingness to learn and work in a professional environment  Must be 18 yrs or older and physically fit  Previous work experience in turf or related field a plus but not required  Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of ballpark</p><p>To Apply: Send resume AND cover letter to Dan Purner, Head Groundskeeper at [email protected]</p>
