<p>September 6, 2016</p><p>Dear NYONEL Member,</p><p>The NYONEL Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 12th annual NYONEL Claire Murray Best Practice Awards Program. In previous years, this program has been successful in highlighting the creative and effective initiatives of our members, and promoting networking. </p><p>Submitted abstracts must reflect the NYONEL mission, to promote excellence in nursing through transformational leadership in New York State. Submissions may be clinical in nature or capture collaboration between education and practice that has produced innovation and/or excellent outcomes. The program is open to any current NYONEL member practicing in any setting, i.e. clinical practice, community, research, education and administration. Multiple submissions from each region are encouraged. One winning submission from each region will be selected; the author will receive $500 for his/her institution.</p><p>An application form with instructions may be downloaded from our website http://www.nyone.org/nyone/</p><p>Following are the Best Practice Program guidelines and timeline:</p><p> Abstract must include description of a clear relationship to AONE Guiding Principles for Future Patient Care Delivery, accessible on the AONE website: http://www.aone.org/resources/PDFs/AONE_GP_Future_Patient_Care_Delivery_2010.pdf  Application submission deadline: November 30, 2016.
