<p> Research in Ecology 2002: Schedule for WEEK 6 Monday, August 5, 2002 Staff: Dr. Krempels, Mr. Burgess, All Faculty planning on going into the field with their groups today, All Graduate Facilitators, All UF’s. 8:00 am: Take attendance & hand out name tags. 8:00-8:15 am: Faculty mentors, Graduate facilitators and Undergraduate Facilitators meet with their groups to begin PowerPoint and Microsoft Word versions of their scientific papers. 12:00 noon: LUNCH 1:00 pm: Continue field work 2:15 pm: BREAK 2:00 pm: Groups continue working on their presentations, concentrating on the MS Word version. Swim time will be at the discretion of the group leaders. 3:55 pm: Meet in SA 110 for daily wrap 4:00 pm Homeward Bound</p><p>Tuesday, August 6, 2002 Staff: Dr. Gaines, Dr. Krempels, Ms. Fleming, Ms. Albers, Mr. Burgess, All UF’s. 8:00 am: Take attendance & hand out name tags. 8:10 am: Dr. Krempels lecture: Energy Flow through Ecosystems 9:30 am: BREAK 9:40 am: Computer time: The Caterpillar Papers 10:30 am: Scientific Writing with Ms. Albers 11:30 am: Swimming at U.M. pool 12:30 - 1:30: LUNCH 1:30 pm: Computers and Statistics with Ms. Fleming & Mr. Burgess 3:00 pm: Guest Speaker 4:00 pm Homeward Bound</p><p>Wednesday, August 7, 2002 Staff: Dr. Krempels, Mr. Burgess, All Faculty planning on going into the field with their groups today, All Graduate Facilitators, All UF’s. 8:00 am: Take attendance & hand out name tags. 8:00-8:15 am: Faculty mentors, Graduate facilitators and Undergraduate Facilitators meet with their groups to finish Microsoft Word versions of their scientific papers. Swim time will be at the discretion of the group leaders. 3:00 pm: FINAL QUIZ BOWL 4:00 pm Homeward Bound 4:30 pm Staff meeting in SA 110 for grading students: MANDATORY</p><p>Saturday, August 4, 2002 Recognition Ceremony for all participants in Cox Science Lobby and Main Lecture Hall. Ceremony begins at 9:30am, and will be followed by refreshments.</p>
