<p>Swine Nutritionist Formulator</p><p>HyLife Ltd. is a progressive Manitoba based company. HyLife and its affiliates have feed and pork operations and genetics and meat sales in various countries around the world. This position is based at the Head Office in the vibrant community of LaBroquerie, Manitoba. We are currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill the position of Swine Nutritionist Formulator.</p><p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Responsible for regular pricing updates, reformulations and usage predictions for internal and external feed mills.  Help perform feed analysis by evaluating chemical and nutritional value of feed ingredients and supplements.  Assist in developing nutrient specifications to formulate rations to maximize growth, reproduction, health, welfare and performance while maintaining a strong emphasis on optimizing costs.  Regular interaction with the company feed mill and external feed mill that toll mill feed for the company  Run feed cost analysis reports on a regular basis. Review key performance indicators.  Key member of HyLife HACCP team whose members are committed to producing safe, top quality pork. Duties include developing, revising and auditing manufacturing and quality control procedures.  Other duties as assigned.</p><p>We are seeking an individual who:  Possess a post-secondary degree in Animal Nutrition, or related discipline.  Be an existing member, or be eligible to gain membership, in a provincial Institute of Agrology.  Solid communication and interpersonal skills.  Excellent time management, organization and problem solving skills. Require high attention to detail.  Be open-minded and adaptable.  Previous experience with Brill or other formulation software considered an asset, but not required.  Proficient in Microsoft Office software and related programs (Excel, Word).  Proficient in Microsoft Office software and related programs (Excel, Word).</p><p>We offer an improved and comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation based on experience and knowledge.
