<p>Job Description</p><p>Job title: Marketing Communications Executive – Land and Influence</p><p>Department: Brand and Communications</p><p>Reporting to: Marketing Communications Manager– Land and Influence</p><p>Location: Head Office - Grantham</p><p>Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week</p><p>Contract: Permanent </p><p>Job Summary</p><p>The Marketing Communications role will play an important role in the Trust’s move to more audience-focused, segmented marketing activity. Reporting to the Marketing Communication Manager it will underpin the successful planning, development and coordination of effective communications to new and existing audiences. </p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Responsibility Assist and contribute to briefing internally </p><p>Progressing communications from brief to sign off, distribution and subsequent reporting</p><p>Liaise externally with agencies and suppliers</p><p>Liaise internally with delivery teams and internal stakeholders as part of daily job management and administration</p><p>Provide coordination to ensure there is visibility and alignment across the range of initiatives planned through the Land and Influence team </p><p>Provide administrative support within the team as required (including raising purchase orders, setting up meetings, organising travel) Recommend and implement improvements to processes, clarity, sourcing, efficiencies Perform other duties which may reasonably be assigned to them by their manager or supervisor</p><p>ROLE DIMENSIONS</p><p>Financial – No financial responsibility Non-financial –Staff management</p><p>No No</p><p>Essential Qualities/ Experience/Skills Required</p><p>1 of 2</p><p> Marketing communications experience in a similar role that includes experience of segmented, audience focused marketing and briefing of agencies and/or suppliers</p><p> Collaborative working as part of a team and an ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships</p><p> Excellent organisational skills and rigorous attention to detail, with ability to multi-task proficiently</p><p> Able to work with the Woodland Trusts framework and deliver our marketing and communications strategy</p><p> Creativity and innovation – able to contribute creatively to the Marketing Communication Executive role</p><p> An understanding of all communications channels – including digital, social, advertising, direct mail, publications and outbound</p><p> Superb communication skills, both verbal and written</p><p> A natural aptitude for attention to detail</p><p>Desirable </p><p> Knowledge of precision marketing techniques Understanding of audience profiling</p><p> Knowledge of event marketing</p><p> Commercial acumen</p><p> A knowledge of the not for profit/charity sector Full UK Driving licence and/or the ability to travel to remote locations across the UK</p><p>How you need to be: </p><p>Surefooted – Having a clear sense of direction, being confident by doing the right thing at the right time for the Woodland Trust Nimble – Being innovative and creative and adapting to the changing needs of the Woodland Trust and our people Trusted – Understanding our people, being a listening ear and keeping promises Treasured – Great at building relationships across the whole of the Woodland Trust.
