<p> History of Armadale Association Project Officer Davie Kerr Heritage Walk £9,500</p><p>This is a temporary position for approximately five months.</p><p>The Project Officer will be responsible for the overall planning, management, completion and promotion of The Davie Kerr Heritage Project. </p><p>He/she will;  use their project management skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction, promote the project and ensure the final project is delivered to a top quality.  visit the schools in Armadale to promote the project and help define school projects for the end product  ensure effective communications and relationships between HLF, HAA, other associations and charities who have agreed to support the project, volunteers and project team members are maintained.  attend regular HAA meetings and give updates and feedback.  take part in and facilitate information gathering through historical research, recording interviews, information appeals, etc.  ensure full training is given to volunteers with regard to interviewing skills and using recording equipment  through networking, help identify interviewees who are willing to share their knowledge, eg people who worked in local industry in Armadale, retired local professionals etc  correlate information for videos, oral documentaries, app, website, signage and leaflets  commission and organise artwork for maps, app creation, signage installation, route improvement, and ensure best practise  organise and oversee route improvement process through to completion.  oversee design and installation of signage, route markers, leaflets, posters and other marketing materials.  design and organise all marketing materials including Press Releases, Social Media pages, literature, signage, etc  manage finances and create finance reports for HAA, HLF and any other funders.  attend all relevant networking events  organise the launch of the Davie Kerr Heritage Walk on 24th June 2015  produce all documents required for successful evaluation and completion of project by end November 2015</p><p>Experience of successfully managing previous projects is essential as well as excellent I.T. skills.</p><p>They must be a good communicator and must be able to bring out the best in people. </p><p>Apply with CV and covering letter to Ron Dingwall [email protected]</p><p>Closing date for applications 28th February 2015</p>
