<p> General Requirements and Vendor Information Questionnaire</p><p>INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC SERVICES PURCHASING OF DISTRICT INSTRUMENTS, REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DISTRICT INSTRUMENTS, MUSIC ACQUISITION FOR DISTRICT MUSIC LIBRARY</p><p>KUSD is looking for a music vendor that can provide the following:  Discounted pricing on quality band and orchestra instruments from a range of top manufacturers  Full-service maintenance and repair with access to loaner instruments  Emergency service and preferential scheduling of major repair or maintenance work  Dealer agreements with a wide range of music publishers  Discounted pricing on band, choir and orchestra music</p><p>Please indicate your ability to meet each of the requirements listed below:</p><p>1. Provide same day repairs and/or loaners for district owned instruments in emergency or warranty situations. This must cover all band and orchestra instruments, including all large and color instruments, i.e., cello, bass, baritone sax, tuba, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, horn (double), etc.</p><p>2. Provide onsite repair service for district owned strings and winds at various district festivals at no charge and offer 24 hour availability for musical emergencies related to school concerts and events in the district.</p><p>3. Execute routine repairs of district owned instruments within two days unless other arrangements are previously agreed upon.</p><p>4. Honor scheduling around concerts, summer programs or other music activities for major instrumental repair or maintenance. (The district currently owns and maintains over 1,000 instruments for individual student use.)</p><p>5. Make weekly service visits to the Fine Arts office and/or individual schools during the regular school year, and during summer programs, for delivery and pick up of instruments, accessories and music. This requirement may also be satisfied through an on-call arrangement for such service.</p>
